Phuket's classic roadside lookout on the hill road between Kata Noi and Karon — one sweeping arc of three beaches: Kata Noi, Kata and Karon.
The viewpoint sits on the winding hill road that connects Kata Noi with Karon, where high ground opens a broad, uninterrupted arc over the west coast: Kata Noi curving closest, then Kata on its point, then the long crescent of Karon stretching north. It is the single most photographed panorama of Phuket's beaches — and it takes no effort to reach, being right beside the road.
There is no ticket and no gate. The platform is small, with limited roadside parking and, typically, a few vendors selling cold drinks. Stops are quick — fifteen to thirty minutes on most itineraries — often combined with the Big Buddha, which looms on the ridge just inland.
On the hill road linking Kata Noi to Karon, on the ridge above the three beaches — reached by scooter, car, taxi or as the scenic stop on land tours. Parking is roadside and limited; the platform is immediately beside the road.
